Puglia Trust was founded by professionals who see to every engagement personally: from choosing the property to coordinating the works, and on to caring for the home over time. Our network of craftsmen and technicians works alongside us, yet there remains one point of contact throughout, from first to last.

Edson

CO-FOUNDER

Italian-Brazilian; after his studies in Milan — where he lived until 2021 — he returned to Puglia and opened a wine shop. It was there that he met Bert. He personally oversees buying advisory, client relationships and the coordination of craftsmen and professionals.

Bert Plantagie

CO-FOUNDER

Dutch, owner of a furniture company in the Netherlands and devoted to this land. At Puglia Trust he looks after contracts, financial matters and investments.

Leila Plantagie Alyasi Aman

CO-FOUNDER

Persian-Dutch, an optometrist based in the Netherlands, with a deep love for Italy and its way of life. Drawn to style — in fashion, in living, and in the spaces around us. Having herself experienced what it means to settle in a new country, she supports Puglia Trust on the lifestyle and hospitality side, helping newcomers truly feel at home.

WHY WE EXIST

Why we do this

Puglia Trust began with a true story. When Leila and Bert faced the difficulties of managing a property far from home, they found in Edson the person who resolved them. From that meeting came the idea: Leila, who knows first-hand what it means to settle in a new country, brought her eye for what truly makes a place feel like home; Edson, his knowledge of the region and of the right people. For many arrive in Puglia in love with this land, yet without knowing whom to turn to. We exist to be that reference.
